GENERAL SITE PREP & DEMO NOTES
Install plastic to seal off areas being remodeled
from rest of home as necessary.
Install floor covering for construction path from
door designated as the construction entrance to
locations of remodeling as necessary.
Install additional floor covering or wall protection
as needed over areas close to the areas of
construction activity.
Install dust control measures on HVAC cold air
returns located within the locations of
remodeling.
Custom Living can provide a HEPA Air Scrubber
to aid in airborne dust control from the start of
demolition up to priming of new drywall
depending on site conditions, Homeowner
understands that this will help to reduce airborne
dust; however, it will still not mitigate it in its
entirety.
Demolition Contractor(s) are responsible for all
labor, for the scope of work specified in the
drawings provided by Custom Living.
Homeowner understands that Custom Living has
only provided a labor and material allowance for
the scope of Demolition denoted on the
drawings, Any additional scope added or
uncovered during demolition will be a Change
Order during construction.
Homeowners understand that Decmolition work
will generate dust and noise throughout the
house, Custom Living will provide site protection
measures to reduce where possible, but
Homeowners should not expect 100%
containment.
SITE PREP & DEMO PLAN NOTES
Provide ram board flooring protection from front
door to kitchen
Plastic off areas of demo
Install zip wall at back hallway near main stairs
MECHANICAL DISCONNECT NOTES
Disconnect existing sink and faucet; save faucet
for reinstallation
Disconnect existing dishwasher
Disconnect existing water line to refrigerator
Disconnect toilet and vanity located in powder
bath prior to demolition
Disconnect and remove (5) recessed cans lights
Disconnect power supply to all appliances
Disconnect outlets and switches on walls to be
demo'd or relocated
Delete existing back splash telephone jack
DEMO PLAN NOTES
Remove all existing appliances (TRASH)
Remove all existing kitchen countertops and
cabinets
Remove pony wall as shown
Remove necessary drywall on walls for
mechanical rough ins
Remove drywall on kitchen ceiling for electrical
locates
OPTIONAL PRICING: Remove existing
hardwood flooring located in kitchen and dining
room, remove tile flooring located in hallway,
powder bath and laundry room. (Pull washer and
dryer prior to demo, re-connect following demo,
pull during flooring install and reinstall following
flooring installation)

No equipment rental is in the current construction
budget.
