The approval of this variance will not be injurious to the public health, safety, morals and general welfare of the community because: The reason this will not be injurous to public health,safety,morals and general welfare of the community are because we are only 1%over the standard lot coverage restraints. 2. The use and value of the area adjacent to the property included in the variance will not be affected in a substantially adverse manner because: Based on the current use of the lot where the new garage will be located,and it's distance away from the front of the property, and that we will be building a structure that is cohesive with our existing home's architectural details and in accordance with precedences set by neighboring garages. 3. The strict application of the terms of the Unified Development to the property will result in practical difficulties in the use of the property because: The strict application of the Development Standards will hinder our ability to build a garage that meets the needs of our family; this need mainly being indoor parking spots for 5 vehicles for 2 adults,and 3 adult children.Without this garage,we will need to have multiple vehicles parked on the driveway on a regular basis,leading to potential theft and weather concerns. DECISION IT IS THEREFORE the decisiqn of the Carmel Board of Zoning Appeals that Development Standards Variance Docket No. L4O11000K V is granted, subject to any conditions stated in the minutes of this Board,which are incorporated herein by reference and� made a part hereof.
