We ask the Architectural Review Board to approve the addition of a pergola at
the back of our home, 457 Burlington Ln. We seek this approval in accord with
paragraph 5(h) in the Second Amended and Restated Declarations of Covenants and
Restrictions of Williams Mill, recorded 29 November 2018.
The proposed pergola will be as illustrated in the accompanying documents. The
pergola will not be freestanding. It will have these characteristics:
1. It will be attached to our home beneath the gutter.
2. There will be two support columns with footers below ground.
3. It will extend to cover the existing patio, but will not extend beyond the
patio.
4. There will be no additional lights in the structure.
5. The color of all parts of the structure will match the color of the existing trim.
6. There will be no additional drainage; water falling on the pergola will be
discharged toward the rear of our home in the same manner as water falling
on the patio is discharged.
