We are listing the event hours from 4pm - 10pm. There is no admission fee for the event and it is open to the public. ClIdSt CDtmntlNty Church (. A temporary liquor license is being obtained for the event. A German Supper and kid meals will be served out of the Church gym indoors. A polka band will play throughout the night. Bingo will begin in the main parking lot tent at 4pm. This will be followed by opening prayer at 5:30. The polka band will play from 6pm - 10pm. The event will have a soft close at 10pm which will allow people to continue socializing before going home. The official campus closing is 11pm. Temporary tents will be erected for the event by A Classic Tent Rental, including a 120'x40' music tent, 20'x20' family tent, and 12'x20' vendor tents for food and drinks. Other, smaller, 10'x10' pop-up tents will be used to vend pretzels, drinks, tickets, balloons and other activities. We are hiring three (3) off-duty Carmel Police Officers to assist with traffic and general safety for the event. The Police Officers will be at the event from 4pm - 11pm. Volunteers will also staff the event for any minor first aid needs which may arise. Parking for the event goers is available at Carmel Lutheran Church, Christ Community Church, and the Education Services Building. A free shuttle bus is available for remote parking. We expect approximately 2,500 people to attend the throughout the event, weather permitting. There will be many event activities including: 7 inflatables (bounce houses, obstacle course, slide, etc.), face painting, and balloon animals for the children. This will take place in the south parking lot along with the polka tent and food and drink tents.
