RE: Docket No. 19080007 V Statement of Variance Request & Support Pursuant to Section 5.39(I)(2)(a)(i)[1], Royal Gallery of Rugs, Inc. ("Petitioner") would like to install a sign not facing street frontage at the location in question. It should be noted that the sign itself would be installed on a brick wall that does not face true west due to the diagonal nature of Old Meridian Street. Petitioner requires this signage so as to notify the public and potential customers of its location. Due to Petitioner's status as a co- tenant within the building already occupied by John Kirk Furniture, signage is particularly important in order to notify the public that there is in fact another business operating at the same address. Without this signage, Petitioner would struggle to conduct business as its location would be extremely difficult to ascertain.
