A. ALL WORK IS TO BE COMPLETED IN STRICT ACCORDANCE WITH ALL APPLICABLE
CODES, ORDINANCES, RULES, REGULATIONS AND STANDARDS, INCLUDING, BUT NOT
LIMITED TO: THE INDIANA BUILDING CODE, THE INDIANA CODES, THE INDIANA FIRE
CODES, THE AMERICANS WITH DISABILITIES ACT (ADA), INTERNATIONAL BUILDING CODE,
AND APPLICABLE TRADE STANDARDS. ALL APPLICABLE RULES AND REGULATIONS ARE
TO BE THE MOST CURRENT ADOPTED EDITIONS.
B. THE CONTRACTOR IS RESPONSIBLE FOR FIELD VERIFYING ALL CONDITIONS AND
DIMENSIONS PRIOR TO THE START OF WORK. REPORT ANY DISCREPANCIES TO THE

I. ALL FINISH CARPENTRY IS TO BE COMPLETED IN STRICT ACCORDANCE WITH A.W.I.
STANDARDS, PREMIUM GRADE.
J. ALL FIRE EXTINGUISHER CABINET LOCATIONS ARE TO BE COORDINATED WITH THE
CONTRACTOR, DESIGNER AND THE LOCAL FIRE OFFICIALS PRIOR TO INSTALLATION.
K. CONTRACTOR(S) SHALL PROVIDE ALL NECESSARY LABOR, MATERIALS, AND EQUIPMENT
FOR THE WORK IN THESE DOCUMENTS, UNLESS CLEARLY NOTED "NOT IN CONTRACT"
(N.I.C.). EXISTING WORK ADJACENT TO OR IN THE AREA OF NEW WORK SHALL BE
PROTECTED BY ALL SUITABLE MEANS NECESSARY TO PREVENT OR MINIMIZE DAMAGE.
WHERE EXISTING WORK IS TO BE REMOVED OR ALTERED, RESTORE ADJACENT FINISH
TO ORIGINAL CONDITION. EXTEND/REFINISH ALL FRAMES, BASE, AND TRIM WHERE
CUTTING HAS EXPOSED ANY UNFINISHED SURFACES. REPAIRANY DAMAGE TO
EXISTING WORK AND RESTORE TO ORIGINAL CONDITION.
L. CONTRACTORS SHALL KEEP WORK AREAS AND ADJACENT PUBLIC CORRIDORS AND
FACILITIES FREE OF DEBRIS. MATERIALS STORED ON SITE ARE THE RESPONSIBILITY OF
THE CONTRACTOR AND SHALL BE STORED IN A LOCATION APPROVED BY THE
LANDLORD.
M. ALL PLUMBING ITEMS AND/OR EQUIPMENT ITEMS ARE TO BE COORDINATED AND
VERIFIED WITH INTERIOR ELEVATIONS PRIOR TO ROUGH -IN. ANY DISCREPANCIES
SHALL BE COORDINATED WITH THE DESIGNER.
N. COORDINATE WITH OWNERAND FACILITY STAFF PROJECT PHASING TO MINIMIZE
DISRUPTION OF EXISTING FACILITY SERVICES. PHASING TO INCLUDE ASSURANCE FOR
CLEAN AIRFLOW, WRITTEN NOTIFICATION OF INTERRUPTIONS, AND COMMUNICATION
AUTHORITY. CONTRACTOR,OWNER, AND FACILITY STAFF TO PLAN FOR PROCEDURES
ON THE EFFECTS OF NOISE AND VIBRATION ON HUMAN HEALTH AND SAFETY. THE
RENOVATED AREAS SHALL BE ISOLATED FROM THE OCCUPIED AREAS DURING ALL
PHASES OF CONSTRUCTION USING AIRTIGHT BARRIERS, AND EXHAUST AIR FLOW SHALL
BE SUFFICIENT TO MAINTAIN NEGATIVE AIR PRESSURE IN THE CONSTRUCTION ZONE.
O. SUBMIT THE REQUIRED NUMBER OF SUBMITTALS FOR DESIGNER REVIEW AND
APPROVAL PLUS ONE EXTRA COPY FOR DESIGNERS RECORDS.
REFLECTED CEILING NOTES
A. PROVID E FIRE DAM PERS AT FI RE -RATED PARTITIONS AS REQU IRE D PER APPLICAB LE
BUILDING CODES.
B. CEILING IN ALLAREAS SHALL BE INSTALLED IN STRICT ACCORDANCE WITH MANUFACTURER'S
SPECIFICATIONS, AND ALL APPLICABLE BUILDING CODES.
C. MECHANICAL CONTRACTOR SHALL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ALL DUCTWORK, SUPPLY AND
RETURN AIR AND THERMOSTATS. COORDINATE ALL ELEMENTS OF THE HVAC SYSTEM TO
PROVIDE A COMPLETELY BALANCED AND EFFICIENT HEATING AND COOLING SYSTEM.
D. HVAC THERMOSTAT CONTROL FOR ALL ROOMS SHALL BE LOCATED WITHIN DEMISED SUITE.
VERIFY AND REWORK EXISTING DUCTWORK AND THERMOSTATS AS REQUIRED.
E. MECHANICAL CONTRACTOR SHALL VERIFY WORKING CONDITION OF ALL EXITING
THERMOSTATS, VAV BOXES, EXHAUST FANS, AND ANY OTHER DEVICE DIRECTLY RELATED TO
THE HVAC SYSTEM. CONTRACTOR TO NOTIFY ENGINEER/DESIGNER IMMEDIATELY UPON
DISCOVERY OF DEFECTIVE DEVICE.
ELECTRICAL NOTES
A. THE ELECTRICAL CONTRACTOR IS TO PROVIDE ALL REQUIRED LABOR,MATERIALS,
EQUIPMENT, AND CONTRACTORS SERVICES NECESSARY TO COMPLETE INSTALLATION OF
SYSTEMS REQUIRED IN FULL CONFORMITY WITH APPLICABLE CODES AND ORDINANCES. THE
FINISHED JOB SHALL BE FUNCTIONAL AND COMPLETE IN EVERY DETAIL INCLUDING ANY AND
ALL SUCH ITEMS FOR A COMPLETE SYSTEM.
B. ALL MATERIALS AND WORKMANSHIP SHALL MEET ALL APPLICABLE STATE AND LOCAL CODES,
ORDINANCES, UTILITY COMPANY REGULATIONS AND NATIONALLY ACCEPTED CODES AND
STANDARDS. THE ELECTRICAL CONTRACTOR WILL BEAR ALL COSTS ARISING IN
CORRECTING ANY NON COMPLIANCE WITH THE REQUIREMENTS OF APPLICABLE CODES.
C. CONTRACTOR TO SUPPLY AND INSTALL ALL ELECTRICAL WIRING, INCLUDING RUNS FROM
JUNCTION BOX TO INDIVIDUAL WORKSTATION UNITS. CONTRACTOR TO SUPPLY PLENUM
RATED BOXES AND PULLS AS REQUIRED TO ACCOMMODATE TENANTS TELEPHONE, DATA
AND SECURITY DEVICES.
