INVESTIGATE ALL EXISTING CONDITIONS (INCLUDING CONCEALED OR UNDOCUMENTED CONDITIONS) PRIOR TO DEMOLITION. NOTIFY THE PROJECTTEAM OF ANY CONFLICTS PRIOR TO PROCEEDING B. ALL FURNITURE AND FURNISHINGS WILL BE REMOVED, RELOCATED ANDOR STORED BY OWNER UNLESS NOTED OTHERWISE. C. ALL ITEMS BEING REMOVED SHALL REMAIN THE PROPERTY OF THE OWNER UNTIL CONFIRMATION HAS BEEN MADE AS TO WHETHER THE OWNER WILL RETAIN SUCH ITEMS. CONTRACTOR SHALL COORDINATE WITH OWNER REGARDING DELIVERY OF ALL ITEMS BEING RETAINED; ALL ITEMS NOT BEING RETAINED BY THE OWNER OR DESIGNATED ON THE DRAWINGS TO BE SALVAGED, RELOCATED OR REINSTALLED SHALL BE COMPLETELY REMOVED FROM THE SITE D. THE DEMOLITION CONTRACTOR SHALL PROVIDE AND INSTALL TEMPORARY DUST PARTITIONS, CONSTRUCTION BARRIERS, TEMPORARY DOORS, WAU(-OFF MATS AND EQUIPMENT PROTECTION WHERE SHOWN ON THE DOCUMENTS OR IF NOT SHOWN, AS RE WIRED BY THE WORK BEING PERFORMED. TEMPORARY DUST PARTITION SHALL BE COMPLETELY SEALED TO PREVENT CONSTRUCTION DUST FROM ENTERING OWNER'S ADJACENT SPACES. DUST PARTITION DOOR TO BE SELF CLOSING, POSITIVE LATCHING, AND PAD{OCKABLE. SUCH PROTECTION SHALL BE MAINTAINED AND REPAIRED PROMPTLY IF DAMAGED TO AVOID DUST INFILTRATION INTO ADJACENT AREAS. PROVIDE HEPA FILTER FILTRATION AND NEGATIVE AIR MACHINES WITH MONITORING GAUGES. THE DEMOLITION CONTRACTOR SHALL ERECTTEMPORARY PARTITIONS AS NEEDED BETWEEN THE CURRENT LOBBY AND THE NEW LOBBY FOR CONTINUOUS OPERATIONS OF LOBBY STAFF. E. COVER ALL RETURN AIR GRILLES AND EXHAUST GRILLES IN CONSTRUCTION AREA WITH MIN. MERV 13 FILTER MEDIA, CHANGED REGULARLY. F. REFER TO MECHANICAL, ELECTRICAL, AND PLUMBING DOCUMENTS FOR RESPECTIVE DEMOLITION INFORMATION. G. FILL ALL FLOOR CONSTRUCTION WHERE PIPING, CONDUITS, AND OTHER PENETRATIONS HAVE BEEN REMOVED. H. DEMOLITION WORK SHALL BE PERFORMED DURING NORMAL WORKING HOURS UNLESS NOISE WILL EXCEED OSHA THRESHOLDS. IF NOISE IS ANTICIPATED TO EXCEED OSHA THRESHOLDS, CONTRACTOR SHALL COORDINATE WITH OWNER TO ADJUST WORK HOURS TO MORE APPROPRIATE TIMES. CONTRACTOR SHALL USE ALL METHODS TO DECREASE NOISE IMPACT. I. DURING THE ENTIRE PERIOD OF DEMOLITION AND CONSTRUCTION, ALL EXISTING EXITS, EXIT LIGHTING, FIRE PROTECTIVE DEVICES AND ALARMS FOR THE ENTIRE BUILDING SHALL BE CONTINUOUSLY MAINTAINED. DAY -TODAY FUNCTION OF THE REST OF THE BUILDING SHALL BE FULLY MAINTAINED. J. ASBESTOS CONTAINING MATERIAL IS NOT ANTICIPATED IN THE AREA OF DEMOLTION.IF ACM's ARE SUSPECTED OR ENCOUNTER CONTRACTOR SHALL NOTIFY THE ARCHITECT IMMEDIATELY K. REMOVE ALL WALL COVERING, OTHER WALL TREATMENT, AND ATTACHMENTS. PATCH, SKIM COAT, AND PREPARE FOR FINAL FINISH ON WALLS NOT BEING COVERED BY NEW CONSTRUCTION. L. IF USING A DEMOLITION CHUTE, IT SHALL BE FULLY ENCLOSED. M. CONTRACTOR TO REMOVE ALL PROJECTOR EQUIPMENT AND MOUNTINGS AND TURN OVER TO OWNER. MEP TRADES TO REMOVE/CAP ITEMS AS REQUIRED SO THEY ARE FULLY CONCEALED BY NEW CONSTRUCTIOWFINISHES. EXPOSED COVERPLATES OR CAPS ARE NOT ACCEPTABLE UNLESS SPECIFICALLY APPROVED BY PROJECT TEAM. THIS NOTE IS TYPICAL, THROUGHOUT ENTIRE FIRST FLOOR 4 REMOVE DOOR AND/OR GLAZING INCLUDING FRAME AND HARDWARE. TURN HARDWARE OVER TO OWNER 5 REMOVE CEILING TILE, GRID AND SUSPENSION SYSTEM IN IT'S ENTIRETY. RE -SUPPORT REMAINING ADJACENT CEILING GRID AS REQUIRED. COORDINATE WITH NEW CONSTRUCTION 6 REMOVE FLOORING. REMOVE ADHESIVE/GROUT 7 REMOVE EXISTING PLUMBING FIXTURE; PLUMBING TRADES TO CAP/REMOVE PIPING AS REQUIRED 8 FOOD SERVICE CONTRACTOR TO REMOVE EQUIPMENT AND STORE FOR OWNER TO RELOCATE. 9 REMOVE EXISTING WALL CONSTRUCTION AS REQUIRED FOR NEW DOOR ROUGH OPENING 10 REMOVE EXISTING DOOR AND HARDWARE FROM STOREFRONT AS SHOWN IN ELEVATIONS AND PREP FOR NEW OPENING.
