Dear Mr. Cross:
At the meeting held on Monday, September 23, 2019 the Carmel Board of Zoning Appeals took the following
action regarding the Development Standards Variance (V) requests filed by you for the property located at 9835 N.
Michigan Road:
APPROVED: Docket Nos. 19070017 V & 19070018 V Development Standards Variance approvals for:
1. Min. 2500 sq. ft. gross floor area required, 2077 sq. ft. granted.
2. Vehicle stacking in the rear allowed, stacking in the front yard granted.
Please be advised that per Article 9.15 of the Unified Development Ordinance, the aforementioned Development
Standards Variance approvals are valid for three (3) years. By that time, either continuous construction of the
improvements must be underway, or a written request for a one-time, six-month extension of the approval must
have been received and approval granted by this Department. The expiration date of the approval is September 23,
2022.
