LAWN SHALL BE FERTILIZED WITH 12-12-12 ANALYSIS FERTILIZER AT A RATE OF 10 LBS/1000 SF. APPLY SEED MIX AT SPECIFIED RATE AND LIGHTLY RAKE INTO TOP 1 4 INCH OF TOPSOIL. 5.MULCH SEEDED AREAS WITH STRAW MULCH AT A MINIMUM RATE OF 11 2 TON PER ACRE (70 LBS/1000 SF). CRIMP OR TACK STRAW TO REMAIN IN PLACE UNTIL COMPLETE GERMINATION OF SEED AND ESTABLISHED GROWTH. 6.WATER AND MAINTAIN GRASS UNTIL STAND IS ESTABLISHED AND READY FOR MOWING AT A 4" MINIMUM HEIGHT. ANY AREA SO NOTED WILL BE RESEEDED OR SODDED UNTIL AN ACCEPTABLE STAND OF GRASS IS ESTABLISHED. 9.ALL DISTURBED LAWN AREAS SHALL BE SEEDED AS NOTED AND AS APPROVED BY OWNER'S REPRESENTATIVE. DRY DETENTION SEEDING AND PREPARATION NOTES 1.CONTRACTOR TO PREPARE ALL DRY DETENTION AREAS TO RECEIVE SEED. STABILIZE ERODIBLE AREAS AND IDENTIFY AND REMOVE UNWANTED VEGETATION. CLEAR AREA OF DEBRIS AND MOW EXCESS EXISTING VEGETATION SO AS NOT TO INTERFERE WITH SEED DISTRIBUTION. 2.INSTALL SEED DURING THE FALL AND LATE SPRING MONTHS FROM SEPTEMBER TO JUNE. PLANT SEED BY HAND BROADCASTING. TO AID SEED DISTRIBUTION, COMBINE SEED MIX WITH FILLER MATERIAL SUCH AS SAWDUST, SAND, OR VERMICULITE. FILLER MATERIAL TO BE DRY SO AS NOT TO INTERFERE WITH DISTRIBUTION. 3.SCARIFY SOIL TO DEPTH OF 3" PRIOR TO APPLICATION. 4.LIGHTLY RAKE SEED INTO TOP 1 4 INCH OF TOPSOIL. 5.WATER AND MAINTAIN SEED UNTIL GERMINATION AND ESTABLISHMENT. REMOVE UNWANTED INVASIVE PLANTS WITH SELECTIVE TREATMENT DURING ESTABLISHMENT PERIOD. 6.ALL DRY DETENTION AREAS SHALL BE SEEDED AS NOTED AND AS APPROVED BY OWNER'S REPRESENTATIVE.
