Attached is a snip of the sign with a red box showing the dimensions I need.  Please confirm that the sign will be at least 5’ from the City right-of-way. There is some confusion regarding the variance request. The variance request should be for the Wall Sign and not the Ground Sign. The Ground Sign received an Off-Premise variance in 2008 and remains in effect because a sign continued to remain at the location. Neither sign has been approved yet and I am still in the sign permit review process with Laurie Wakerley. Can you please provide specifications for the proposed Wall Sign? This is the sign that Staff and the BZA members will be reviewing. We will have another mailing to the BZA on Noon, Nov. 20, for the BZA Dept. Reports, and you can include your supplemental info with that mailing. Lastly, Staff did not see the required legal add/public notice in the Current in Carmel. Can you provide an update regarding the three required forms of public notice: legal ad, certificate of mailing, and posting of a sign. It is possible to ask for suspension of the rules at the BZA meeting in order to allow the petition to be heard, however, Staff needs to know what has and hasn’t occurred.
