Page 11 of 12 Filename: Hearing Officer Development Standards Variance Application & Instructions 2019 Revised 0111oil 9 INTRODUCTION OF PROJECT Hello, My name is Archana Ranginani, owner of the subject property and we are requesting a variance for lot 8 Woodhall at property known as 10465 Woodhall Lane,Carmel, IN 46032. STATEMENT OF VARIANCE We are seeking a variance regarding our need for a 25 foot front yard setback instead of the required 30 foot allowed front yard setback as defined in UDO section 2.04. STATEMENT OF SUPPORT The variance we are seeking will have no negative impact on surrounding property owners regarding value and aesthetics. Although we are moving the house 5 feet closer to the street, the front door sits well off the road due to a deep front porch and there is plenty of greenspace around the house and in the rear of the property. Moving the house 5'forward will enable more usable backyard for playground/swimming pool. This exact variance has recently been approved under docket no 19080010V for our immediate neighbors to the south of us (lot 7) and we hope that the same variance will be granted to us.
