Note:
Contractor shall refer to Philips MR plans for
rough in information and related work
requirements for a complete electrical service to
MR equipment. All requirements for the electrical
contractor are noted on the Philips plans and shall
be a part of the contractors work. Contractor shall
have all costs, material and labor included in the
proposal from the Philips equipment plans.
"NEC-2008, Article 517 compliant dual -
grounding I MCMP cable is required in
all patient care areas"
General Notes:
A. All 120 volt, 20 amp circuits over 60' in length shall be
#10 AWG, over 95'shall be #8, over 145'shall be#6.
B. Contractor shall coordinate with all other trades to avoid
conflicts of space.
C. Commonly shall coordinate the exact location of all
devices with all other trades priorto rough in. Exam
location to be determined in the field.
D. Contractor shall coordinate with the mechanical and
plumbing contractors for exam locations of equipment
prior to rough -in.
E. Refer to sheet E701 for details and symbols.
F. Refer to sheet E601 for electrical riser diagram.
G. Refer to sheet E601 and E602 for electrical schedule(s).
H. Refer to sheet E901 for electrical specifications.
H. Shared neutrals shall not be permitted.
J. Note"H" clips are not acceptable for junction box
supporting.
K. Switches shall be a maximum+48" A.F.F. to the top of
the device unless otherwise noted.
L Receptacles, telephone outlets, and television outlets
shall be a minimum of+1 W A.F.F. to the bottom of the
device unless otherwise noted.
M. Where devices are installed in fire walls, the boxes shall
be rated and sealed for installation in afire wall.
N. Provide HACR circuit breakers for all HVAC and
refrigeration equipment.
Plan Notes:
1O Provide and install a 480 volt, 3-phase, 125 amp circuit
breaker for MRI.
O2 Provide and install a 480 volt, 3-phase, 80 amp circuit
breaker for KKT Chiller on roof. Coordinate exact
location priorto roi in.
Os I x 4' cable ladder tray.
O1PW x 1PH x I wall box with removable screw -Type
coverplate. Surface mount, bottom of box at 12"a.f.f.
O2"W x 411 x 21D wall box with removable screw -type
constraints. Flush mount, bottom of box at 70"a.f.f.
O9 Provide and install a flush junction box, horizontal with
conduit to above accessible ceiling for KKT Chiller
Display. Exam height to be determined by local Philips
Service.
10 RF door switch, limited to open when door is open.
Mount in upper corner on strike side. Use Grainger item
1111, Tdemecanique modd XGM10541 or equal.
11 (0112)Upper tray, 4"H x 11 cable ladder mounted 4"
above "CR3". from (SFB)Wall mounted filter box to
above equipment cabinets. (CR2) must be at least 10' in
length and divided into 2 compartments. Maximum
cable weight of 34lbsllinear foot.
12 (CR3)Lower tray, 4"H x 18'W cable ladder tray mounted
7'-1 a.f.f. to bottom of tray, from (SFB)WdI mounted
filter box to above equipment cabinets (CR3)must be
at least 10'in length.
13 (0111) 4"H x 24"W non- ferro magnetic cable ladder tray
mounted above suspended ceiling from (SFB) to behind
magnet. Cl must be between 13' and 30' in length
and divided into 3 compartments: 8"W x 1PW and 6"W.
Cable tray must be non-ferro magnetic material, such as
aluminum Drglass-reinforcedplastic(GRP). (GRP)
material is recommended and wooden trays are not
allowed. Mustbe 2" above the top of the suspended
ceiling.
14 10"W x 1 "H x s"D well box with removable screw type
cone relate. Surface mount above (CR2).
15 Above finished ceiling for maintenance purposes.
