10.
THE SCHEDULING, SEQUENCING AND EXECUTION OF THE DEMOLITION WORK, REMOVAL

EXISTING MOTION DETECTOR DEVICE TO BE REMOVED
OF DEBRIS AND STORAGE OF SALVAGED ITEMS SHALL BE COORDINATED WITH THE
BUILDING MANAGEMENT AND PERFORMED ACCORDING THE BUILDING MANAGEMENT'S
INSTRUCTIONS.
11.
G.C. IS RESPONSIBLE TO TAKE WHATEVER STEPS ARE REQUIRED TO PROTECT THE
EXISTING WINDOW BLINDS DURING DEMOLITION AND CONSTRUCTION. GENERAL
CONTRACTOR IS ALSO RESPONSIBLE TO ENSURE THAT ALL WINDOW BLINDS DO

13. UNLESS OTHERWISE NOTED ON DRAWINGS, REMOVE ALL EXISTING WALLCOVERINGS.
G.C. TO CONFIRM LOCATIONS PRIOR TO BID SUBMISSION.
14. G.C. IS RESPONSIBLE TO SALVAGE THE FOLLOWING ITEMS FOR REUSE WHERE
APPLICABLE. TYPICAL SALVAGEABLE ITEMS MAY INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
DOORS, FRAMES, AND HARDWARE
15. DEMOLITION MAY OCCUR DURING NORMAL BUSINESS HOURS. PRECAUTIONS MUST BE
TAKEN TO ENSURE MINIMAL DISRUPTIONS TO ONGOING BUSINESS OPERATIONS OF
OTHER TENANTS IN THE BUILDING.
16. AS APPLICABLE, REMOVE ALL WATER AND VENT PIPING BACK TO VALVE OR CAPPED
CONNECTIONS AT BUILDING CORE. RESTORE FLOOR SLAB AND FIRE -RATED ELEMENTS
AS REQUIRED.
17. THE GENERAL CONTRACTOR WILL BE RESPONSIBLE TO PREVENT AIRBORNE DEBRIS
FROM ENTERING THE AIR DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM BY PROVIDING DUST PROTECTION
AROUND THE WORK SITE, AND ON ALL RETURN AIR GRILLES, DIFFUSERS AND VAV
BOXES. ALSO, AS IS PRACTICABLE, GENERAL CONTRACTOR WILL ALSO INSTALL
FILTERING MEDIA OVER THE MAIN AIR HANDLERS ON THE FLOOR TO PROTECT THE
UNITS FROM EXCESS DUST ACCUMULATION DURING DEMOLITION AND CONSTRUCTION.
18. THE GENERAL CONTRACTOR IS TO PLAN AND PROVIDE FOR TEMPORARY BARRIERS
19. G.C. IS TO REMOVE ALL EXISTING CEILING TILES IN PREPARATION FOR NEW
ACOUSTICAL TILE TO BE INSTALLED. REFER TO DRAWING A-2.03 FOR FURTHER
INFORMATION ON CEILING GRID AND ACOUSTICAL TILE. SEE ALTERNATE it FOR NEW
CEILING GRID.
20. ALL EXISTING LIGHT FIXTURES, EXIT SIGNS AND LIGHT SWITCHES TO BE
DEMOLISHED IN PREPARATION FOR NEW. REFER TO DRAWING A-2.03 AND ENGINEER'S
DRAWINGS FOR ADDITIONAL INFORMATION.
21. SEE ENGINEERING DOCUMENTATION FOR EXTENT OF DEMOLITION TO THE
MECHANICAL, ELECTRICAL, SPRINKLER OR PLUMBING SYSTEMS.
