I have issued the Plan Commission Docket Number for Penske Honda & Pre-owned buildings – Exterior Renovations
(ADLS Amend). It is the following:

The applicant seeks site plan and design approval for exterior renovations to the Penske Honda building and the Pre-
owned building. Renovations include new signage and exterior façade materials. Combined, the sites are 11.25 acres in

size. The buildings are located at 4140 E. 96 Street and 4100 E. 96 Street. The sites are zoned B-3 and are not located
within any overlay zone. Filed by Matthew Hoener of TGD Architects on behalf of the owner.

Petitioner, please note the following:
1. This item will not be on a meeting agenda of the Technical Advisory Committee (TAC). However, the Petitioner is
required to work with TAC members individually via Project Dox, email, and/or mail to address review
comments. For your reference, here is a link to the current TAC members list.
2. Public notice is not needed.
3. The Filing Fee and 10 Informational Packets must be delivered to Plan Commission Secretary Joe Shestak no
later than Noon, Friday, October 25, 2019. Checks can be made out to The City of Carmel or we can accept
credit card by phone for a small fee.
4. For the Information Packets, please print them at 8.5 x 11 size and use tabs to separate the sections. 11 x 17
sheets can also be used, but they must be folded down to 8.5 x 11. If you choose to bind your packet, please do
not use a 3 ring binder. Spiral, wire, or stapling are acceptable methods. Please include the following in your
information packets, if applicable to your project:

a. Cover Page (including project name, docket number, Plan Commission Commercial Committee meeting,
meeting date, contact info)
b. Brief Description of the project
c. Location Map
d. Photos of existing building and site
e. To scale Site Plan, including bike rack locations
f. Site plan laid over an aerial
g. Architectural renderings of building addition
h. Architectural elevations of each building facade with materials called out
i. Materials sheet (photos of material samples)
j. Dumpster enclosure plan
k. Floor plans
l. Lighting information – site and building (including cut sheets for all fixtures)
m. Lighting photometric plan where footcandles are listed all the way to the property line
n. Landscaping plan
o. Signage plan
p. Any other supporting information or drawings
5. This item will appear on the Thursday, November 7, 2019 meeting agenda of the Plan Commission Commercial
Committee, which begins at 6 PM in the Caucus Rooms of City Hall. (A representative must be present.)

7. Review comments from the Planning/Zoning Dept. will be issued soon via ProjectDox.
