Dear Mr. Cupp:
At the meeting held on Monday, October 28, 2019 the Carmel Board of Zoning Appeals took the following action
regarding the Special Use (SU) request filed by you for the property located at 9800 Association Court:
APPROVED with Conditions: Docket No. 19060003 SU, Permitted Uses, Special Use required for
Church/Temple/Place of Worship granted with the following Conditions:
1.) Sidewalks are installed within one year and approved by the Carmel Engineering Dept., and
2.) The Petitioner addresses all outstanding TAC items prior to receiving a certificate of occupancy, including
but not limited to:
Final Landscape Plan approval by Carmel Urban Forester
Bicycle rack parking approval by Carmel Active Transportation Coordinator
Enclosing the trash dumpster
Please be advised that per Article 9.09 of the Unified Development Ordinance, the aforementioned Special Use
approval is valid for three (3) years. By that time, either continuous construction of the improvements must be
underway, or a written request for a one-time, six-month extension of the approval must have been received and
approval granted by this Department. The expiration date of the approval is October 28, 2022.
