Dear Mr. Farrand:
At the meeting held on Monday, October 28, 2019 the Carmel Board of Zoning Appeals Hearing Officer took the
following action regarding the Development Standards Variance (V) requests filed by you for the property located
at 12025 Clay Center Road:
APPROVED: Docket Nos. 19090010 V & 19090011 V Development Standards Variance approvals for:
1. Signage. Max. 3 sq. f. tall traffic directional signs allowed, 7 sq. ft. granted.
2. Ball field lighting. Exceeding maximum 0.1 foot-candles along south property line granted.
Please be advised that per Article 9.09 of the Unified Development Ordinance, the aforementioned Development
Standards Variance approvals are valid for three (3) years. By that time, either continuous construction of the
improvements must be underway, or a written request for a one-time, six-month extension of the approval must
have been received and approval granted by this Department. The expiration date of the approval is October 28,
2022.
