THE PROJECT IN TERMS OF DESIGN CONCEPT, DIMENSIONS, AND MAJOR
ARCHITECTURAL ELEMENTS. THESE DOCUMENTS DO NOT NECESSARILY
DESCRIBE OR INDICATE ALL WORK REQUIRED FOR FULL PERFORMANCE
AND COMPLETION OF THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE CONTRACT. ON THE
BASIS OF THE GENERAL SCOPE INDICATED OR DESCRIBED, EACH TRADE
CONTRACTOR SHALL FURNISH AND INSTALL ALL ITEMS REQUIRED FOR
THE PROPER EXECUTION AND COMPLETION OF THIS WORK.
GENERAL NOTES
1. THE DRAWINGS AND SPECS. ARE AN INSTRUMENT OF SERVICE AND ARE
THE SOLE PROPERTY OF THE DESIGNER. ANY RE -USE OR DUPLICATION OF
THESE DOCUMENTS IS PROHIBITED WITHOUT THE EXPRESSED WRITTEN CONSENT
OF THE DESIGNER.
2. THE DRAWINGS AND SPECS. ARE THE SOLE PROPERTY OF THE OWNER.

7. EACH CONTRACTOR IS REQUIRED TO REMOVE ALL CARTONS, BOXES, MATERIALS,
TRASH AND DEBRIS CAUSED BY HIS WORK FROM THE JOB SITE DAILY.
8. ALL MATERIALS SUSPENDED FROM STRUCTURE ABOVE SHALL BE HUNG FROM
THE TOP CHORD OF THE JOIST. THIS INCLUDES BUT IS NOT LIMITED TO
BULKHEADS, SPRINKLER LINES, CEILINGS, GAS PIPING, STORM WATER,
ELECTRICAL CONDUIT, ETC.
9. THE GENERAL CONTRACTOR IS RESPONSIBLE FOR SECURING ALL REQUIRED
PERMITS AND THE PAYING OF ALL REQUIRED FEES.
10, ALL MECHANICAL WORK SHALL BE IN ACCORDANCE WITH ALL APPLICABLE
CODES OF THE LATEST ADOPTION.
11, ALL PLUMBING WORK SHALL BE IN ACCORDANCE WITH ALL APPLICABLE CODES
OF THE LATEST ADOPTION.
12, ALL ELECTRICAL WORK SHALL BE IN ACCORDANCE WITH ALL APPLICABLE CODES
OF THE LATEST ADOPTION.
13. REMOVE EXISTING SWITCHES THAT ARE NOT USED. REMOVE CONDUIT AND
WIRING BACK TO NEAREST BASE BUILDING JUNCTION BOX. PATCH AND REPAIR
WALL FOR NEW FINISH.
14, G.C. AND E.C. SHALL VERIFY ALL CEILING HEIGHTS AND CEILING PLENUM
CONDITIONS FOR CLEARANCE OF DUCTWORK, LIGHTING, AND OTHER
OBSTRUCTIONS TO ASSURE THE FINISHED CEILING HT. INDICATED ON PLAN.
ANY DISCREPANCY SHALL BE BROUGHT TO THE DESIGNER'S ATTENTION.
15, ALL NEW SWITCHES FOR LIGHTING SHALL BE LOCATED AS SHOWN ON PLANS.
MOUNT CENTER OF SWITCH 6"-9" FROM EDGE OF DOOR FRAME, UNLESS
NOTED OTHERWISE.
16. THE ELECTRICAL CONTRACTOR SHALL NOTIFY THE DESIGNER OF ANY
DISCREPANCIES BETWEEN THE CONTRACT DOCUMENTS AND APPLICABLE
CODES PRIOR TO CONSTRUCTION.
