THE DOCUMENTS ARE INTENDED TO INDICATE THE GENERAL SCOPE OF
THE PROJECT IN TERMS OF DESIGN CONCEPT, DIMENSIONS, AND MAJOR
ARCHITECTURAL ELEMENTS. THESE DOCUMENTS DO NOT NECESSARILY
DESCRIBE OR INDICATE ALL WORK REQUIRED FOR FULL PERFORMANCE
AND COMPLETION OF THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE CONTRACT. ON THE
BASIS OF THE GENERAL SCOPE INDICATED OR DESCRIBED, EACH TRADE
CONTRACTOR SHALL FURNISH AND INSTALL ALL ITEMS REQUIRED FOR
THE PROPER EXECUTION AND COMPLETION OF THIS WORK.
GENERAL NOTES
1. THE DRAWINGS AND SPECS. ARE AN INSTRUMENT OF SERVICE AND ARE
THE SOLE PROPERTY OF THE DESIGNER. ANY RE -USE OR
DUPLICATION OF THESE DOCUMENTS IS PROHIBITED WITHOUT THE
EXPRESSED WRITTEN CONSENT OF THE DESIGNER.
2. THE DRAWINGS AND SPECS. ARE THE SOLE PROPERTY OF THE OWNER.

TRADE.
6, EACH CONTRACTOR SHALL PROVIDE ALL BARRICADES, ETC. AS REQUIRED
BY LAW, CODE OR ORDINANCE AND AS OTHERWISE REQUIRED.
7, EACH CONTRACTOR IS REQUIRED TO REMOVE ALL CARTONS, BOXES,
MATERIALS, TRASH AND DEBRIS CAUSED BY HIS WORK FROM THE
JOB SITE DAILY.
8. ALL MATERIALS SUSPENDED FROM STRUCTURE ABOVE SHALL BE HUNG
FROM THE TOP CHORD OF THE JOIST THIS INCLUDES BUT IS NOT
LIMITED TO BULKHEADS, SPRINKLER LINES, CEILINGS, GAS PIPING,
STORM WATER, ELECTRICAL CONDUIT, ETC.
9. THE GENERAL CONTRACTOR IS RESPONSIBLE FOR SECURING ALL
REQUIRED PERMITS AND THE PAYING OF ALL REQUIRED FEES.
10, ALL DIMENSIONS ARE FROM FACE OF DRYWALL TO FACE OF DRYWALL.
11. ALL INTERIOR FINISHES SHALL BE IN ACCORDANCE WITH ALL
APPLICABLE CODES OF THE LATEST ADOPTION.
12. ADA - TENANT BUILD OUT DESIGN HAS BEEN BASED UPON OUR
TRAINING AND UNDERSTANDING OF THE REGULATIONS AND GUIDEUNES
ISSUED AS COMPONENT PARTS TO TITLE III OF THE AMERICANS WITH
DISABILITIES ACT, PUBLIC LAW 101-336. DESIGN RESOLUTION DOES
NOT ATTEMPT TO ADDRESS POTENTIAL CONCERNS ASSOCIATES WITH
OTHER TITLES OF THE ACT THAT IMPLICATE POLICY, PROCEDURES,
AND TELECOMMUNICATIONS ISSUES,
13. ALL EXIT DOOR LOCKS SHALL BE IN ACCORDANCE WITH ALL
APPLICABLE CODES OF THE LATEST ADOPTION.
14. DOOR CLOSERS AT INTERIOR DOORS SHALL BE ADJUSTED SO THAT
THE MAXIMUM FORCE FOR PUSHING OR PULLING OPEN A DOOR SHALL
NOT EXCEED 5 LEIS.
15. INTERIOR DOOR CLOSERS SHALL BE ADJUSTED SO THAT FROM AN OPEN
POSITION OF 70 DEGREES, THE DOOR WILL TAKE AT LEAST 3 SECONDS
TO MOVE TO A POINT 3 IN. FROM THE LATCH TO THE LEADING EDGE
OF THE DOOR.
16. PREPARE ALL EXISTING WALLS AND FLOORS TO RECEIVE NEW FINISHES.
PATCH AND REPAIR AS REQUIRED.
17. G.C. TO LABEL ALL RATED WALLS ABOVE CEILING.

1. PROVIDE FIRE TREATED WOOD OR METAL BLOCKING FOR FIXTURES AS REQUIRED.

9, ALL WOODWORK/MILLWORK SHALL CONFORM TO THE QUALITY STANDARDS OF
ARCHITECTURAL WOODWORK INSTITUTE (AND PREMIUM GRADE. FABRICATOR SHALL BE
FAMILIAR WITH AWI STANDARDS.
10, FABRICATE WOODWORK/MILLWORK ITEMS TO ACTUAL FIELD DIMENSIONS. CONTRACTOR($)
