I am not quite sure how it works at the Recorder’s office, but I thought they give you a copy (or you ask for a copy) of the
recorded document (with the instrument number sticker on it) after you get it recorded… maybe you can call them and

I just know that petitioners email me or drop off copies of the recorded documents to my office. And sometimes, they
just give me the original recorded document that has the original instrument number sticker on it.

I believe it is a fee required with all new dwelling units, where the money is used by the City’s Park & Recreation
Dept. to fund projects, do maintenance & upkeep, etc.
You can read more about it in UDO section 1.30.

It is still in the review process, so I would say it is around 2-3 weeks from being fully done. The applicant (Sam
Milligan) needs to finalize/complete the Applicant Resubmit step within the electronic plan review software,
ProjectDox. Then, we can move it on to the next, final steps.
Please coordinate with Sam and have him work with us; it is more efficient (and less confusing) to just have one
point of contact. Thanks!
