PROTECTIVE DEVICES, AND ALARMS SHALL BE CONTINUOUSLY MAINTAINED.

FINISHED DOOR OPENINGS IN NEW PARTITIONS SHALL BE SET 6" FROM ADJACENT PERPENDICULAR
PARTITIONS, UNLESS OTHERWISE NOTED.

ALL FINISH CARPENTRY IS TO BE COMPLETED IN STRICT ACCORDANCE WITH A.W.I. STANDARDS,
PREMIUM GRADE.

ALL FIRE EXTINGUISHER CABINET LOCATIONS ARE TO BE COORDINATED WITH THE CONTRACTOR,
DESIGNER AND THE LOCAL FIRE OFFICIALS PRIOR TO INSTALLATION.
O.
CONTRACTOR(S) SHALL PROVIDE ALL NECESSARY LABOR, MATERIALS, AND EQUIPMENT FOR THE
WORK IN THESE DOCUMENTS, UNLESS CLEARLY NOTED "NOT IN CONTRACT" (N.I.C.). EXISTING
WORK ADJACENT TO OR IN THE AREA OF NEW WORK SHALL BE PROTECTED BY ALL SUITABLE
MEANS NECESSARY TO PREVENT OR MINIMIZE DAMAGE. WHERE EXISTING WORK IS TO BE
REMOVED OR ALTERED, RESTORE ADJACENT FINISH TO ORIGINAL CONDITION. EXTEND/REFINISH
ALL FRAMES, BASE, AND TRIM WHERE CUTTING HAS EXPOSED ANY UNFINISHED SURFACES. REPAIR
ANY DAMAGE TO EXISTING WORK AND RESTORE TO ORIGINAL CONDITION.
P.
CONTRACTORS SHALL KEEP WORK AREAS AND ADJACENT PUBLIC CORRIDORS AND FACILITIES FREE
OF DEBRIS, MATERIALS STORED ON SITE ARE THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE CONTRACTOR AND
SHALL BE STORED IN A LOCATION APPROVED BY THE LANDLORD.

ALL PLUMBING ITEMS AND/OR EQUIPMENT ITEMS ARE TO BE COORDINATED AND VERIFIED WITH
INTERIOR ELEVATIONS PRIOR TO ROUGH -IN. ANY DISCREPANCIES SHALL BE COORDINATED WITH
THE DESIGNER.

COORDINATED WITH OWNER AND FACILITY STAFF PROJECT PHASING TO MINIMIZE DISRUPTION OF
EXISTING FACILITY SERVICES. PHASING TO INCLUDE ASSURANCE FOR CLEAN AIRFLOW, WRITTEN
NOTIFICATION OF INTERRUPTIONS, AND COMMUNICATION AUTHORITY. CONTRACTOR, OWNER, AND
FACILITY STAFF TO PLAN FOR PROCEDURES ON THE EFFECTS OF NOISE AND VIBRATION ON HUMAN
HEALTH AND SAFETY. THE RENOVATED AREAS SHALL BE ISOLATED FROM THE OCCUPIED AREAS
DURING ALL PHASES OF CONSTRUCTION USING AIRTIGHT BARRIERS, AND EXHAUST AIR FLOW SHALL
BE SUFFICIENT TO MAINTAIN NEGATIVE AIR PRESSURE IN THE CONSTRUCTION ZONE.
