The existing Signage needs to be updated to meet Honda and Penske Automotive requirements. We are requesting a Development Standards Variance for proposed signage as indicated on the submitted elevations. This requested to comply with remodel standards of Honda and our client Penske Automotive. Honda Sales building – the Current arrangement of signs do not comply with the current Honda Design Standards. The building as seen it the pictures was approved with 3 signs. We are requesting the same number of signs in different locations. Penske and Honda are required by Honda to be separated and the service center sign is removed. Honda Pre-Owned - the Current sign does not comply with the current Honda Design Standards. The existing Honda Logo will be replaced with Honda Signage and the additional signage is to identify the services provided the building. The building is for the Sale of Pre-owned cars and Penske Collision.
