HomeMy WebLinkAboutChangemark Comments - PondAlex Jordan, Please see comments below in red regarding your changemark requests. Thank you. 1) Please extend to be 150' long. This has been revised to be 150’ long. 2) Please show erosion control blanket stabilizing swale and pond banks.  We have shown erosion control blanket around the pond bank.                                    3) Please use an outlet control structure for pond outlet, then the two orifices can be accomondated and one of the outfall pipes can be sized to take both flows so one pipe can be removed.  We have shown a new concrete structure with one outfall pipe to meet their requirements.  Additionally, we’ve moved the location of the structure to the east to avoid the proposed waterfall area.               4) Pond outlet stabilization: We are concerned that this discharge does not meet our acceptable outlet requirements since it does not enter directly into a conveyance such as a pipe or creek. The pipe should be extended per our standards in Chapter 300, Section 302.12 - Acceptable Outlet. We would support a level spreader sized appropriately in lieu of extending the pipe.  We have used a level spreader for this outlet instead of running the outlet pipe all the way to the creek.              5) How does this drainage make it around the north side of the home? Is it possible to capture this drainage and bring it into the pond? Please provide proposed contours and any storm network needed to convey drainage around home and bring it into the pond.             We have included a swale around the east side of the house to capture as much of this as possible.  The elevation at the north side of the house is too low to collect and route to the pond. 6) Should the well be positioned near the outlet? Is it an issue for the well to be located in the outlet path for the pond?  The pond outlet structure has been moved to avoid the waterfall.
