Carmel, IN 46032—6000 RE: Sign Permit Application Dear Ms. Hart: After reviewing the above referenced application I have the following comments: —The applications are not signed. —Section 25.7.04—3c.iii of the Carmel/Clay Sign Ordinance limits the maximum sign area to six (6) square feet on lots containing less than five (5) acres and thirty—two (32) square feet on lots containing five or more acres of ground. Section 25.7.04—3c.iv of the Carmel/Clay Sign Ordinance limits the maximum height of a sign to five (5) feet on lots containing less than five (5) acres and eight (8) feet on lots containing five or more acres of ground. Therefore, I need a something that verifies the acreage of the parcels in which the signs are to be established (i.e. legal description, survey). —Need to show or state the setback dimension of each sign from all right— of—ways. . e p —Have the properties in question been sold, leased, or rented? G' erlithtlX Due to the above deficiencies and/or non—conforming conditions I am unable to approve your permit request. Please address the above item or reclaim your material as soon as possible for this office will only hold such documents for 30 days from the date of this letter. I have enclosed a copy of the commercial "Real Estate Sign" section of the Carmel/Clay Sign Ordinance for your reference.
