D1. DEMOLISH EXISTING CANOPY AND SUPPORTING STRUCTURE IN
THEIR ENTIRETY.

GENERAL DEMOLITION NOTES:
A. ALL EXISTING CONSTRUCTION TO REMAIN UNLESS OTHERWISE
NOTED.
B. SEE MEP DRAWINGS FOR SCOPE OF MEP DEMOLITION.
C. NOTIFY ARCHITECT OF ANY DIMENSIONAL OR PHYSICAL
DISCREPANCIES BETWEEN EXISTING CONDITIONS AND
REPRESENTATIONS IN THE DRAWINGS FOR CLARIFICATION PRIOR
TO PROCEEDING WITH WORK IN THE AFFECTED AREA.
D. CONTRACTOR SHALL COORDINATE WORK TIMES AND POWER/
SERVICE/NOISE DISRUPTIONS WITH OWNER PRIOR TO
COMMENCING WITH WORK.
E. CONTRACTOR SHALL PROVIDE TEMPORARY PROTECTION OF
EXISTING FINISHES AND EQUIPMENT AS NEEDED DURING
DEMOLITION/CONSTRUCTION. ANY DAMAGE TO EXISTING
CONSTRUCTION SHALL BE RESTORED BY CONTRACTOR TO NEW
CONDITION PRIOR TO COMPLETION OF CONSTRUCTION.
D2. DEMOLISH EXISTING ASPHALT ROOFING IN IN ITS ENTIRETY.
PATCH ANY DAMAGED AREAS TO PREPARE FOR NEW ROOFING.
D3. DEMOLISH EXISTING DRIVE-THRU CANOPY, SUPPORTING
STRUCTURE, TELLER TUBE SYSTEM, AND REMAINING ITEMS.
TERMINATE ALL ELECTRICAL CIRCUITS INSIDE MAIN BUILDING.
D4. DEMOLISH EXISTING WINDOW/DOOR AND TRIM WORK IN THEIR
ENTIRETY.
D5. REMOVE PORTION OF WALL TO ACCOMMODATE NEW OPENING.
SEE FLOOR PLAN AND STRUCTURAL PLANS.
HATCH AREA INDICATES MATERIALS / AREA TO BE
DEMOLISHED, SEE ASSOCIATED NOTE FOR
DESCRIPTION.
D6. DEMOLISH EXISTING CUPOLA IN ITS ENTIRETY. REPAIR ROOF
STRUCTURE AS REQUIRED.
D7. REMOVE EXISTING SHUTTERS.
D8. REMOVE EXISTING MASONRY CHIMNEY IN ITS ENTIRETY. PATCH
ROOF OPENING IN PREPARATION FOR NEW ROOF.
D9. REMOVE EXISTING ATM ENCLOSURE / UNIT. INFILL AREA PER
FLOOR PLAN.
D10. REMOVE EXISTING DEPOSIT BOX. PREPARE OPENING TO BE
INFILLED WITH NEW BRICK.
D11. REMOVE PORTION OF WALL TO ACCOMMODATE NEW DOOR
OPENING. SEE DEMO PLANS.
