Yes, the Wren building still needs its final ADLS approval (as does the Hotel Carmichael if you would be the one to submit that). The location for Wren was approved through Docket No. 16070001 DP/ADLS, but designs were not finalized for the exterior finishes of this building at that time. The building permit process will be through Nick Mishler in Building & Code (nmishler@carmel.in.gov). We are usually flexible and supportive of Pedcor/CRC projects getting their early release for foundation work. Please let me know if there is something else you will need me to do once you submit to Nick. For both the building permit process and the ADLS approval process, you will need to upload the plans to Project Dox for review. Once you submit the ADLS application to me, I will issue a new docket number and send you a link to upload the plans to Project Dox for me (and other CRC Architectural Review Committee members) to review. I hope to have at least one round of review comments prior to you finishing the CDs. Lastly, before I can issue the final Letter of Grant, we will need an approval letter from the CRC ARC. Please let me know if you have any questions. We are currently executing Construction Documents drawings, but have been directed to issue a set of Construction drawings for foundations and steel as we finish the design of the building shell. Can you assist Pedcor in a process (through the city’s ADLS if necessary) that can accommodate foundation work to proceed while finishing the complete Construction Documents?
