Petitioner, please note the following:
1. This Item will not be on an agenda of the Technical Advisory Committee, but will be required to work with TAC
members individually through Project Dox. Please note that when submitting for building permits, other
departments may need to review the proposed changes. For your reference, here is a link to the current TAC
members list.
2. Mailed and Published Public Notice does not need to occur.
3. Proof of Notice is not needed.
4. The Filing Fee must be paid prior to issuance of Letter of Grant.
a. Please call the Planning Dept. at 317-571-2417 to pay this fee over the phone with a credit card. A small
fee may apply.
b. Checks made payable to the City of Carmel are also accepted.
5. The Filing Fee and 5 Information Packets must be delivered to Plan Commission Secretary, Joe Shestak, no later
than 12:00 PM, Friday, January 24, 2020. If the filing fee and materials are not delivered by this time, this
petition will be continued to the next committee meeting.
6. Please include the following in your information packets (which can be bound or stapled, size 8.5”x11” or folded
down to this size):

a. Cover letter explaining the project
b. Site plan calling out proposed changes
c. Landscape plan/proposal, if applicable
d. Lighting plan/proposal, if applicable
e. Architectural renderings
f. Architectural elevations showing all sides of the building
g. Before and after photos/renderings of the buildings
h. Any other pertinent information for the Committee’s consideration
7. This item will appear on the Tuesday, February 4, 2020 agenda of the Plan Commission Commercial Committee
at 6:00 PM, in the City Hall Caucus Rooms. Please have a representative attend that meeting to present your
request.
8. Review comments from the Planning/Zoning Dept. will be issued soon via ProjectDox.
