HVAC SPECIFlCATIONS
1. GENERAL PROVISIONS
A. THE PROVISIONS OF THE INSTRUCiIONS TO BI�DERS, GENERAL CON�ITIONS,
SUPPLEMENTARY CONDITIONS, ALTERNATES, ADDENDA'S', AND DIVISION 1 ARE A PART
OF THIS SPEqFlCAT10N. CONTRACTORS AND SUBCONTRACTORS SHALL ExAMINE SAME
AS WELL AS OTHER DNISIONS OF THE SPEQFlCATIONS WHICH AFfECT WORK UNDER
THIS DIVISION.
8. THIS CONTRACTOR SHALL PROVIDE ALL UBOR, EQUIPMENT, SUPPLIES, SERVICES,
AN� SHALL PERFORM ALL WORK COMPLEfE AND IN STRICT ACCORDANCE WITH THIS
SPEqFlCAT10N AN� APPLICABLE DRAWINGS. ANY �EVIATIONS SHALL BE CLEARLY
DEFMED AND ITEMRED IN ACCORDANCE WITH SECTION 1Qf Of THIS SPECIFICATION.
G THIS CONTRACTOR IS INSTRUCTED TO READ CAREfULLY THE SPEQFlCATIONS FOR ALL
PARTS OF THE WORK, WHICH INCLUDE THE ARCHITECTURAL, ELECTRICAL,
MECNANICAL, PLUMBING, FIRE PROTECTION, CIVIL, STRUCTURAL AND ALL OTHER
DRAWINGS AS WELL AS THE SPEqFlCATI0N5 FOR ALL THE DIVISIONS THAT ARE PART
OF THE CONTRACT DOCUMENTS.

2.PERMITS, CODES, INSPECTIONS AND TESTS.
A. THE HVAC CONTRACTOR SHALL SECURE AND PAY FOR ALL PERMITS AND
INSPECTIONS REQUIRED FOR THE PROSECUTION OF HVAC WORK. ALL PERMITS AND
CERTIFlCATES OF INSPECTION AND APPROVAL SIGNED BY THE CONTROLLING BUILDING
DEPARTMENT SHALL BECOME PROPERtt OF THE OWNER
8. DRAWINGS INDICATE THE MINIMUM DESIGN REQUIREMENTS. NATIONAL, STATE, AND
LOCAL CO�ES SHALL BE PoLLOWED, COMPLY WITH THE UTE4 EDITIONS OF THE
STATE MECHANICAL CODE, NFPA, SMACNA, AND ASHRAE STANDARDS. 7HE
CONTRACTOR SHALL INCLUDE THE COST OF SATISFYING SUCH CODES AND
STANDARDS IN THE BID.
