SLOPE EXHAUST DUCT A MINIMUM OF 2 PERCENT TO DRAIN GREASE BACK TO HOOD. 21 INSTALL FIRE RATED ACCESS PANEL ASSEMBLIES IN KITCHEN HOOD EXHAUST DUCT AT EACH CHANGE IN DIRECTION AND AT MAXIMUM INTERVALS IF 12 FEET IN HORIZONTAL DUCTS. LOCATE ACCESS PANEL ON TOP OR SIDE OF DUCT. PANEL SHALL BE A MINIMUM OF 12"x12" AND SHALL BE LOCAT 22 CLEANOUTS SHALL BE INSTALLED IN HORIZONTAL GREASE DUCT AND SHALL BE PLACED NOT MORE THAN 20 FEET FROM ANY CHANGE IN DIRECTION GREATER THAN 45 DEGREES. DO NOT LOCATE CLEANOUT ON BOTTOM OF DUCT. 23 GREASE EXHAUST SHALL BE ENCLOSED FROM THE POINT AT WHICH IT PENETRATES THE CEILING TO THE OUTLET AT THE EXHAUST FAN. THE DUCT ENCLOSURE SHALL BE EITHER FIELD APPLIED OR FACTORY BUILT. 24 GREASE EXHAUST SHALL BE WELDED 16 GUAGE BLACK STEEL OR OTHER CODE APPROVED MATERIAL. 25 EF-4 TO BE INTERLOCKED WITH AHU-1. REFER TO AHU-1 CONTROL SEQUENCE. 26 TERMINATE FLUE AT SIDEWALL WITH VENT HOOD. PAINT TO MATCH WALL. 27 COMBUSTION AIR UP THROUGH ROOF.
