Please exercise caution and Do Not open attachments or click links from unknown senders or unexpected email. **** We are strongly requesting that you and the the Carmel Plan Commission and City Councilors NOT APPROVE of Republic Builders petition to rezone 21 acres on the northwest corner of Springmill Road and 116th Street to allow 20,000 sq. ft. for unneeded commercial use and 55 high-density 3- story townhouses. In Republics promotion and development of Jacksons Grant there was NO mention of commercial development and high density homes. This would be a cheapening of this lovely area and certainly would not contribute to the "Unbridled Elegance at Every Turn" that the developer advertised while building this Jacksons Grant community. One safety consequence, if approved? Increased traffic in two already congested round-abouts on 116th Street (Springmill Rd. and Illinois St). Plus, so far, the one substantial beauty of West Carmel is the relative absence of commercial sprawl. Please forward this email to all who have input into the vote regarding "Jacksons Grant Village/Republic" petition to rezone. Thank you-- Denise and Lance Seagren 547 Elliot Creek Drive Carmel IN 46032 1
