Please exercise caution and Do Not open attachments or click links from unknown senders or unexpected email. **** Dear Joe, Thank you so much for your work to keep Carmel honest and beautiful. I am writing to express my concern over the proposed rezoning for the JGV at 116th and Springmill. We’ve lived in Carmel for almost 11 years, and it saddens me to see so much of the natural beauty that drew us to Carmel so easily overlooked and under appreciated. I believe a PUD at that location would: *Increase traffic at what has already become a busy intersection due to the Bridges development. *further displace wildlife that seems to be continuously uprooted in our community. *devalue surrounding homes, especially the ones in the JG development and the beautiful estate homes along 116th. *destroy trust in the original development plans for the area. *create a larger carbon footprint from Carmel by destroying more nature and suffocating the land with more pavement and development and creating a heavier traffic flow. Please help preserve the integrity of this area as well as the original agreements for the development of it so that we can show the people of our city and any visitors to this area that we value protecting the environment and a balance for our citizens. Nature brings peace and beauty to a city, it inspires. We need more hope and less frustration for all! Sincerely, Caroline Daly Claridge Farm resident Sent from my iPhone 1
