SPECIFICATIONS. IF THE PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS HAVE DISCREPANCIES BETW EEN THEM, THE

SECTION 15003-CODES

APPLICABLE LOCAL CODES AND ORDINANCES AND STATE STATUTES. ALL REQUIREMENTS OF THE

CODES, N FPA CODES AND ENERGY CODES MUST BE MET. IT IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE

SECTION 15004 - LICENSES, PERMITS, INSPECTIONS & FEES

PERMITS AND INSPECTIONS FOR PLUMBING, HEATING AND VENTILATION AN D FIRE EXTINGUISHING
WORK.
2. ALL CERTIFlCATES OF INSPECTION AND FlNAL INSPECTIONS SHALL BE TURNED OVER TO THE
TENANT'S PROJECT MANAGER AT THE COMPLETION OF THE PROJECT.
SECTION 15005 - TRADE NAMES, MANU FACTURERS AND SHOP DRAW MGS
1. IN ANV CASE W HERE A SPECIFIC NAME OF EpUIPMENT OR MATERIAL IS MENTIONED ON THE
DRAW INGS OR SPEC IFICATIONS THE EXACT EQUIPMENT SHALL 8E USED FOR THE BASE 81D.
EQUIPMENT OF EQUAL GRADE AND QUALITV W ILL BE SUBJECT TO PRIOR APPROVAL BV THE
TENANT'S PROJECT MANAGER AND THE ENGMEER IN W RITING THRU THE SHOP DRHW ING
SU6MITTAL PROCESS. ANV EpUIPMENT INSTALLED WITHOUT WRITTEN APPROVAL WILL 6E
CHANGED OUT TO THE SPECIFlED E�UIPMENT AT THE CONTRACTORS EXPENSE.
2. MECHANICALCONTRACTORSHALLSUBMIT3COPIESOFSHOPDRAWINGSTOTHETENANT'S
PROJECT MANAGER FOR APPROVAL IF APPROVED, COPIES W ILL BE STAMPED "NO EXCEPTIONS"
OR "APPROVED AS NOTED" AND W ILL BE RETU RNED TO THE CONTRACTOR. IF NOTATIONS AND
MARKS INDICATE THAT REVISED INFORMATION IS REpUIRED, THEN CORRECTED INFORMATION
SHALL BE SUBMITTED.
SECTION 15006 - GUARHNTEE
1. THISCONTRACTORSHALLASSUMERESPONSIBILITVFORANDDEFECTSWHICHMAVDEVELOPIN
ANV PART OF THE SVSTEMS CAUSED BV FAULTY WORKMANSHIP, MATERIAL OR E�UIPMENT, AND
AGREES TO REPLACE ANY SUCH FAULTY W ORKMANSHIP, MATERIAL OR EpUIPMENT DURING A
PERIOD OF 12 MONTHS FROM THE DATE OF FINAL ACCEPTANCE W ITHOUT ANV COST TO THE
OWNER. ANV EXTENDED WARRANTIES (LONGER THAN 12 MONTHS) FOR EpUIPMENT W ILL 6E
NOTED ON THE SCHEDULES, PLANS OR SPECIFlCATIONS.

SECTION 15001- RECORD DRHW INGS
1. THIS CONTRACTOR SHALL MAMTAIN AT THE JOB SITE A SET OF DRAW INGS TO BE USED
SPECIFICALLV FOR RECORDWG CHANGES FROM THE CONTRACT DOCUMENTS. THE INFORMATION
SUCH AS VALVES, DUCT AND PIPE DEVIATIONSSHOULD BE DIMENSIONED FROM EASILV
RECOGNIZABLE REFERENCE POINTS INDICATING BOTH HORIZONTAL AND VERTICAL DISTANCES.
2. THECONTRACTORSHALLSUBMITAFINALSIGNEDSETOFASBWLTDRAWINGSTOTHETENANTS
PROJECT MANAGER AT THE COMPLETION OF THE PROJECT.
3. THECONTRACTORSHALLSUBMITTOTHETENANTSPROJECTMANAGERATTHEENDOFTHE
PROJECT (2) COMPLETE HARD HOUND SET OF CATALOG DATA, MANUFACTURES LITERATURE,
DETAIL MANUALS COVERMG THE OPERATION AND MAIMENANCE OF ALL W UIPMENT SPECIFlED.
SECTION 15008-DISCREPANCIES IN DOCUMENTS
1. THEDRAWMGSOFPIPMGANDDUCTWORKSVSTEMSSHALLBEINSTALLEDSUBSTANTIALLVAS
SHOWNONTHEPLANS. THEEXACTPOSITIONOFEACHANDEVERVPIPE,DUCT,OFFSETAND
TRANSITION CANNOT BE GIVEN BV SCALMG THE DRAW WGS BUT SHALL IN EVERV CASE BE PLACED
SO AS TO AVOID INTERFERENCE W ITH OTHER W ORK. ALL NECESSARV CHANGES IN THE LOCATION
OF PIPE OR DUCTWORK FOR ITS PROPER INSTALLATION AND TO AVOID CONFLICT W ITH OTHER
TRADES SHALL BE DONE BV THE CONTRACTOR AT NO ADDITIONAL CHARGE.
SECTION 15009 DEMOLITION

EXISTMG WORK AND THE DEMOLITION PROVIDED BV THE GENERAL CONTRACTOR. COORDINATE

3. CONTRACTORMUSTVERIFYWITHTHELANDLORDALLPRESUMEDABANDONEDEQUIPMENT,PIPES,
DUCPNORK AND EpU IPMENT PRIOR TO REMOVAL. ROOF CURBS SHALL BE REMOVED AND THE
ROOF PATCHED. ALL EXTRANEOUS ITEMS IN THE SPACE OR ON THE ROOF NOT APPLICABLE TO
THE NEW WORK MUST 6E REMOVEDAND ROOF/JJALLffL00R PATCHEDIREPAIRED TO MATCH
EXISTING STRUCTURE.
4. EXISTINGABANDONEDPIPES,DUCTS,OREpUIPMENTINTHEFLOOR,EMBEDDEDINCONCRETE,OR
OTHERW ISE INACCESSIBLE ARE TO 8E CUT OFF AND SEALED BELOW OR W ITHIN FLOOR OR W ALL

5. IF REQUIRED BV LANDLORD OR CODES, ABANDONED PIPING AND/OR DUCTWORK MUST BE
REMOVED TO POINT OF ORIGIN. CONFIRM THE EXTENT OF DEMOLITION W ITH THE GENERAL
CONTRACTOR AND TENANT PRIOR TO BID AND INCLUDE IN BID PROPOSAL AS DIRECTED BV THE
