Dear Mr. McNutt:
At the meeting held Monday, February 24, 2020, the Carmel Board of Zoning Appeals Hearing Officer took the following
action regarding the Development Standard Variances (V) filed by you for the property located at 7227 Delmont Drive:
APPROVED: Docket Nos. 19120009-10 V, Development Standards Variance approvals for
1. Minimum 25’ front setback required for houses with front load garage, 20’ granted,
and
2. Minimum 3’ garage setback from house face required, 3’11” in front of house face granted.
Please be advised that per Article 9.15 of the Unified Development Ordinance, the aforementioned Development
Standards Variance approvals are valid for three (3) years. By that time, either continuous construction of the
improvements must be underway, or a written request for a one-time, six-month extension of the approval must have been
received and approval granted by this Department. The expiration date of the approval is February 24, 2023.
Please include a copy of this letter with any permit application.
