THE CONTRACTOR SHALL MAINTAIN A STABLE CONSTRUCTION ENTRANCE AT ALL TIMES AND SHALL MAKE EFFORTS TO MINIMIZE THE ACCUMULATION OF SOIL, MUD AND DEBRIS ON ADJOINING ROADWAYS. 7. SYMBOLS FOR INLET PROTECTION MEASURES AND DITCH CHECKS ARE SHOWN LARGER THAN ACTUAL SIZE. 8. DISTURBED AREAS AND STOCKPILES THAT ARE TO REMAIN IDLE FOR MORE THAN 14 DAYS SHALL BE STABILIZED WITH TEMPORARY SEEDING. 9. ADDITIONAL EROSION CONTROL MEASURES MAY BE REQUIRED BY THE INSPECTOR. 10. PORTABLE TOILETS SHALL BE ANCHORED TO THE GROUND TO PREVENT TIPPING AND SPILLS. 1. REPAIR OR REPLACE ALL EXISTING SILT FENCE, CHECK DAMS OR INLET PROTECTION DAMAGED DURING EARTHWORK ACTIVITIES. 2. DESIGNATE THE PERSON RESPONSIBLE FOR COMPLYING WITH THE ON-SITE SWPPP INSPECTIONS UNTIL ALL DISTURBED AREAS ON SITE SITE HAVE REACHED 70 PERCENT VEGETATIVE COVER DENSITY. 3. IF WORK OR CONSTRUCTION HAS STOPPED FOR 2 WEEKS OR MORE BEFORE PERMANENT SEED IS APPLIED, INSTALL TEMPORARY SEED AND MULCH AS DESCRIBED ON SHEET C405. COORDINATE RESPONSIBILITY FOR COMPLETING THE SITE REVIEW AFTER EACH 1 2" RAINFALL AND A MINIMUM OF ONE TIME A WEEK. 4. THE PROJECT WILL BE COMPLETED IN PHASES. IF A PHASE OR WORK AREA IS COMPLETED AFTER NOVEMBER 1, THE SITE SHALL BE STABILIZED WITH TEMPORARY SEED AND BMP'S MEETING REQUIREMENTS OF ONSITE INSPECTORS BEFORE CLOSING DOWN FOR WINTER. PERFORM WEEKLY INSPECTIONS AND PREPARE REPORTS THROUGHOUT THE WINTER WITH REPAIRS AND MAINTENANCE AS NEEDED UNTIL PERMANENT STABILIZATION MEASURES ARE INSTALLED AND 70% VEGETATIVE DENSITY IS ACHIEVED IN THE SPRING. 5. FOR ALL PHASES, COMPLETE MASS GRADING AND EXCAVATION. STORE EXCAVATION SPOILS AS INDICATED ON PLANS. 6. DETENTION BASIN SHALL BE USED AS SEDIMENT BASIN DURING CONSTRUCTION. COLLECTED SEDIMENT SHALL BE REMOVED WHEN IT REACHES DEPTHS OF 1.6 FEET (ELEVATION . DETENTION BASIN BOTTOM SHALL BE OVER EXCAVATED 2.0 FEET TO ACCOMMODATE SEDIMENT (OVER EXCAVATE TO ELEVATION 851.0) . AT COMPLETION OF CONSTRUCTION CONTRACTOR SHALL REMOVE/EXCAVATE ALL SEDIMENT TO REACH A FINAL POND BOTTOM OF 853.00. 7. DETENTION POND BANKS SHALL BE STABILIZED WITH SEED AND EROSION CONTROL BLANKET WITHIN 24 HOURS OF REACHING FINAL FINISH GRADE. 8. COMPLETE FILL, BACKFILL, AND ROUGH GRADING REQUIRED TO RETURN ALL AREAS WITHIN CONSTRUCTION ZONE TO SUBGRADE GRADE ELEVATION INDICATED ON PLANS. ALL FILL MATERIAL UNDER PAVEMENT OR BUILDINGS SHALL BE APPROVED BY ON-SITE GEOTECHNICAL ENGINEER. 9. PREPARE ALL PAVEMENT SUBGRADES PER PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS. 10. MAINTAIN ALL INLET PROTECTION, CHECK DAMS AND SILT FENCING IN THE SITE PROJECT BY CLEANING OUT EVERY WEEK AND AFTER EVERY RAIN EVENT OF 1/2" OR GREATER DEPTH. 11. PERFORM FINAL GRADING AND SEEDBED PREPARATION ON DETENTION BASIN BANKS AND SITE PERIMETER AREAS INDICATED ON THIS SHEET. 12.
