Good afternoon, Petitioners – I hope you are well.
Planning Staff is trying to coordinate having virtual Board of Zoning Appeals meetings on the evening of
April 27, where each agenda item gets its own time slot. As part of the 3 forms of public notice
requirements, your public notice legal ad would still be due to the required newspaper by Noon
tomorrow, so that it prints on time. Knowing this, I have a question for you: if we email you your BZA
Docket No. Assignment email this afternoon (with all the dates, deadlines, docket nos., info, etc.), do
you think you will be able type up and email your legal ad to the required newspaper by Noon
tomorrow, OR do you want to table your item for a month, and do public notice later (for the Tuesday
May 26 BZA meeting)? Please let me know your choice by tomorrow morning, so we can plan
accordingly. And, thank you for your patience during this time.
Angie Conn, AICP
Planning Administrator
Carmel Planning & Zoning Dept.
(PS Below is a text template you can use to type up your legal ad to the newspaper.)
