Dear Mr. Bennett:
At the virtual meeting held on Monday, April 13, 2020 the Carmel Board of Zoning Appeals Hearing Officer took
the following action regarding the Development Standards Variance (V) requests filed by you for the property
located at 1260 City Center Drive (former 12325 Pennsylvania Street):
APPROVED: Docket Nos. 20020013 V & 20020014 V, Development Standards Variance approval for:
• Prohibited signs, Off premise sign granted (at Shoot Point Blank site, 1250 City Center Dr.).
• ≥ 5-ft ground sign setback from street right of way required, 0-ft from City Center Dr. requested.
Please be advised that per Article 9.15 of the Unified Development Ordinance, the aforementioned Development
Standards Variance approval is valid for three (3) years. By that time, either continuous construction of the
improvements must be underway, or a written request for a one-time, six-month extension of the approval must
have been received and approval granted by this Department. The expiration date of the approval is April 13, 2023.
Please include a copy of this letter with any permit application. (Please work with Nathan Chavez in our office to
secure the sign permits.)
