HomeMy WebLinkAboutBathroom Addition NotesThe permit request is for a full bathroom addition with dimensions of 4’ x 7’ in flexible/exercise room located between pool and garage. The closest plumbing is an upstairs bathroom on the other side of the garage. We will run ¾” water lines to the location of the fixtures. Once the ¾” trunks are located we will split off with ½” as needed for fixtures. For the pump location in the garage we will run water lines down the garage side wall and stub out according to the vanity specs. Water lines will be connected to the shower valve and the valve will be secured to the studs. A left-hand shower pan will be set on a 2 x 8” platform with ¾” plywood for a level surface. After the shower is set, we will run the drain lines for the shower and the lavatory to the proper inlets on the Saniflo unit, which will sit directly behind the toilet and connect with 3” PVC drain for the toilet and will be run at the finish stage. We will run 1.5” PVC from the pump, lavatory, and shower drains for proper venting, and tie together and run through the garage connecting to the 3” drain line and use the existing house vent. For the discharge, we will run 1” PVC per Saniflo specs and connect to the main drain for the upstairs bathroom. New ¼ turn shutoff valves will be installed for the Saniflo SaniPlus toilet and the lavatory. We will then set a vanity/pedestal sink, faucet, and install the toilet. The drains will be connected and the pumps tested and drained. Shower and vanity trim will be set and tested.
