Re: BZA Docket No. PZ -2020-00059 V: Capstick Residence, Fence Height Variance
Dear Mr. Capstick:
At the virtual meeting held on Tuesday, May 26, 2020 the Carmel Board of Zoning Appeals Hearing Officer took
the following action regarding the Development Standards Variance (V) request filed by you for the property
located at 4408 Abbey Drive:
APPROVED: Docket No. PZ-2020-00059 V, Development Standards Variance approval for: 8-ft tall fence
granted along Main Street.
Please be advised that per Article 9.15 of the Unified Development Ordinance, the aforementioned Development
Standards Variance approval is valid for three (3) years. By that time, either continuous construction of the
improvements must be underway, or a written request for a one-time, six-month extension of the approval must
have been received and approval granted by this Department. The expiration date of the approval is May 26, 2023.
Please include a copy of this letter with any permit application.
