Dear Mr. Shestak,
We are currently building a home in Jackson’s Grant at 12212 Hobby Horse Lane, and are looking forward to moving into this
beautiful community.
We were attracted to building here in part because of the ability to walk on the trails. Walking to small shops easily accessible
to the community would be a wonderful addition. There are restaurants and other businesses across Springmill Road, but
require a dangerous crossing through a very busy roundabout.
I feel that having some small businesses, deli’s, coffee shops or other options would be a welcome addition and give Jackson’s
Grant an extra desirability for us and future families. In addition, the Jackson’s Grant Village project would be a lot more
attractive than having food trucks pull into the neighborhood, which is what is occurring now. This is fine for a craft fair or the
streets of Austin!
I support the project and hope the Plan Commission and City Council will too.
Sincerely,
Julie Bookwalter
