GENERALNOTES:
1. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL COMPLY WITH THE AUTHORITY HAVING JURISDICTION AND ALL APPLICABLE LOCAL,
STATE AND FEDERAL CODES PERTAINING TO THE SAFETY OF PERSONS PROPERTY AND ENVIRONMENTAL
PROTECTION.
2. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL REVIEW THE GENERAL CONDITIONS AND THE SUPPLEMENTARY CONDITIONS BEFORE
COMMENCWG WORK.
3. REFER TO THE PROJECT MANUAL, INCLUDING THE GENERAL CONDITIONS, SUPPLEMENTARY CONDITIONS AND
GENERAL REQUIREMENTS [DIVISION-1� FOR INFORMATION THAT IS APPLICABLE TO ALL TRADES. REFER TO THE
TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS.
4. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL COORDINATE THE PERMITTING PROCESS TO SECURE BUILDING PERMITS AND ALL
OTHER PERMITS AND LICENSES, PAY ALL FEES AND SHALL OBTAIN FINAL APPROVAL OF ALL JURISDICTIONAL
AUTHORITY.
5. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL COORDINATE AND COOPERATE IN OBTAINING ALL REQUIRED INSPECTIONS, CLOSE-
OUT, AND CERTIFICATE OF OCCUPANCY.
6. ALL CONSTRUCTION DIMENSIONS AND DETAIL SHALL CONCUR WITH AND BE DETERMINED FROM THESE
DRAWINGS ONLY. DRAWINGS SHALL NOT BE SCALED. NOTED DIMENSIONS GOVERN. LARGE SCALE DETAILS
GOVERN OVER SMALL SCALE DETAILS. CONTRACTOR TO IMMEDIATELY REPORT TO ARCHITECT ANY
DISCREPANCIES FOUND IN THE FIELD.
7. REPETITIVE FEATURES NOT COMPLETELY DESCRIBED ANDIOR DETAILED SHALL BE CONSTRUCTED W EXACT
ACCORDANCE WITH CORRESPONDING FEATURES WHICH ARE COMPLETELY DESCRIBED OR DETAIL.
8. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL VERIFY AND BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ALL FIELD DIMENSIONS AND CONDITIONS.
CONTRACTOR SHALL NOTIFYTHE ARCHITECT OF ANY DISCREPANCIES BEFORE PROCEEDING WITH ANY WORK. NO
CHANGES SHALL 8E MADE TO PLANS WITHOUT PRIOR CONSENT OF THE CLIENT AND THE ARCHITECT.
9. ITEMS DAMAGED AS A RESULT OF ANY CONTRACTOR'S WORK SHALL BE REPLACED OR REPAIRED IN FULL
EXTENT BY THE CONTRACTOR AT NO ADDITIONAL COST TO THE OWNER.
10. THE OWNER RESERVES THE RIGHT AT ALL TIMES TO DELNER, PLACE, AND INSTALL EQUIPMENT AND
FURNISHINGASTHEWORKPROGRESSES MCOORDINATIONWITHTHECONTRACTOR.
11. TENANT PROTECTION PLAN SHALL BE PROVIDED PER LOCAL JURISDICTION REQUIREMENTS AND INCLUDE
PROVISIONS FOR EGRESS, FIRE SAFETY, HEALTH REQUIREMENTS, STRUCTURAL SAFETY AND NOISE
RESTRICTIONS.

DRAWINGS.
15. THE TERM "FINISHED FLOOR" AS INDICATED ON THE DRAWINGS, REFERS TO THE FINISHED WALKING SURFACE
OF THAT FLOOR LEVEL. HEIGHTS NOTED IN SCHEDULES ARE HEIGHTS ABOVE THE FINISH FLOOR, UNLESS
OTHERWISE NOTED.
16. INTERIOR PARTITIONS SHALL NOT BE COMPLETED TO FULL HEIGHT UNTIL ALL OVERHEAD TRADES ARE
