Procedure:
The petitioner shall incur the cost of the purchasing, placing, and removing the sign. The sign must be
placed in a highly visible and legible location from the road on the property that is involved with the public
hearing.
The public notice sign shall meet the following requirements:
1. Must be placed on the subject property no less than 10 days prior to the public hearing date.
2. Sign must follow the sign design requirements: —=a- ,tom

• Must be double sided
• Must be composed of weather resistant
material, such as corrugated plastic or
laminated poster board

You are receiving this public notice mailing in accordance with the requirements of the City of
Carmel Board of Zoning Appeals. Carmel Clay Parks and Recreation is proposing to construct site
improvements at Flowing Well Park located at 5100 East 116th Street, Carmel, IN 46032. The project
scope of work includes of construction of a restroom building and related utility infrastructure, an expansion
of the existing parking lot, new sidewalks, reconfiguration of woodland trails, site furnishings, and park
signage. The proposed restroom building and expanded parking lot are located within the regulatory 100-
year floodplain of Cool Creek. The project will also stabilize ongoing stream bank erosion and meander
propagation within Park property. Two variances to the development standards stipulated in the Carmel
City Code, Chapter 10 (Zoning and Subdivisions), Article 5 (Flood Hazard Areas) are required for the project
as outlined in the public notices below. Please review these notices. If you have any questions prior to the
