> My name is Tami Singer and my husband Chuck and I are again pleading with you...
> We bought our home at 3185 Smokey Ridge Ln, 24 years ago back in 1996. Our house is located at the end of what is
now proposed to be one of the through streets. We have know all along that the property would someday be
developed, but thought when that day came the neighborhood would be another fine, similar neighborhood not a large
one with all the traffic whizzing through our streets endangering the lives of our children at play. I do not believe the
only roundabout in Carmel with a traffic light can withstand an additional 3 spoke entrance. And a 55+ neighborhood
does not mean less driving. In addition the traffic study made during a pandemic and “Stay at Home” order was
hilarious!! In no way could it be correct.
> Eleven years ago my husband and I also invested in our property and additional $135,000.00 by adding a pool house
and outdoor living space. Our house is 7,000 square foot and sits on .625 acres. This proposed rezone with only a 20’
tree buffer is adding 1500-2100 square footage homes on a 35’ lot? This is not a good transitional neighborhood.
> I am asking you to please consider all of my concerns and deny their proposal.
> Thank you so very much for your consideration.
