Please exercise caution and Do Not open attachments or click links from unknown senders or unexpected email. **** Dear Sir, As a new resident to the Village of West Clay who specifically built a single family home in this neighborhood due to its uniqueness and charm, I strongly oppose having a gas station built within the neighborhood. I don’t see how this brings significant value to the Village residents. This is not a commercial area it is a residential area which has certain business that do not pose a hazard or impact the safety of the community. Your decision to allow such project to be pursued and approved will be detrimental to the health of our community. The danger a gas station poses is significant and this not only impacts the Village residents but other nearby neighborhoods as well. The number of new residents and construction that has been built post the initial voting on the gas station is significant and as such a new voting should take place now that most of the Village lots have been bought and constructed on. If I would have known this was a project being pursued, I would have not built in this neighborhood. At not point in time during our building process was this disclosed to us by the builder or anyone from the owners association. That is fundamentally wrong. This is detrimental to the health and wellness of our children in this neighborhood as well as to any resident with pre-existing conditions or underlying health issues. Not to mention the additional crime risk this could bring. Please consider this as my objection and disapproval for this motion. Regards, Monica Olmeda 1727 Blythe St. 1
