Please exercise caution and Do Not open attachments or click links from unknown senders or unexpected email. **** Hi Mr. Shestak: I hope all is well with you. I want to voice my concerns about rezoning the parcel of land north of Saddle Creek subdivision for multi-family townhouses. While I am all for progress and free enterprise, adding 258 residences will significantly increase the traffic in the area, with many choosing to drive through Saddle Creek to reduce commute time. The increase in traffic will affect the safety and well being of those in Saddle Creek, which already has enough traffic passing through a 100% residential area. The building of the Harmony Apartments on 146st has already increased the traffic at the roundabouts, with the apartment complex only 50% complete. Adding an additional 258 units, with most having 2 autos, will increase traffic by over 500 cars per day. While townhomes are popular, they are also at the lower end of the home ownership scale and many turn into rental units, bringing in tenants that do not support the community the way single family homeowners do. The concentration of units would be greater than the entire Saddle Creek subdivision and destroy property values, as potential buyers would not want to live next to them. The overall impact to the quality of life and economic impact on homeowners will be substantial and I hope that the board will reject the petition. Eirc M.
