Please exercise caution and Do Not open attachments or click links from unknown senders or unexpected email. **** Hello Mr. Shestak, I am a current Saddle Creek resident. I am writing to you to ask you to stop the plan of building two exits at Saddle Creek for a newly proposed community on 146th street. My concerns include safety, unauthorized use of saddle creek amenities and our property values. SAFETY: Adding two exits in Saddle Creek community causes significant safety concerns. Our subdivision has many families with young kids. I personally saw kids chasing their balls on the street many times when I drove home. With the increased traffic from this proposed high density community with 256 houses via the two exits, the chance of kids being struck by motor vehicles increases dramatically. As a parent with two kids myself, I would lose sleep over concerns on their safeties for their afternoon playtime in the yard. UNAUTHORIZED USEAGE OF SADDLE CREEK AMENITIES Saddle creek community is a well established subdivision with lots of amenities such as a swim pool, tennis and basketball courts, playgrounds and walkways. Recent commercial development such as the one built on south of 141st street between Town road and Ditch road chose to profit most by proving limited amenities. I have seen residents from that subdivision sneak into our swim pool. While these commercial developers pocketed more profits and their residents paid lower prices for their houses, we, as residents of Saddle Creek sacrifice our entitlement. With this newly proposed high density community, I can see similar trespassing and unauthorized uses of our amenities. With the addition of these two exits, the trespassing will be made even more convenient. Does the city have a way to protect our exclusive entitlement to these amenities? LOSS OF PROPERTY VALUE With these added exits, we will lose property values. With green grass and trees being replaced by heat radiating concrete and added traffic causing significant safety concerns, our houses will lose value. Additionally, with two additional subdivision residents use our amenities unauthorized, these amenities will become less of an enjoyment but overcrowding public spaces. Would you want to move into such a community? Your serious consideration of our concerns are highly appreciated. Regards, Yingmei 1
