Mr Shestak,
Hope this emails finds you well. I am reaching out about the Ambleside Point Planned Unit Development (Ambleside
Point PUD). I am currently a resident of Saddle Creek, I have lived here for 5 years and one the things that I enjoy the
most is the safety of the neighborhood and the contact with nature in my backyard. I have been lucky enough to even
see a bald eagle. I am really concerned about the impact on the wildlife due to the construction of the Ambleside Point
PUD. The current plan includes expanding the existing pond on Mustang Chase Drive, which will need to remove existing
trees leading to loose our privacy and having my backyard facing to all the single-family lots on Area A. I am requesting
your support to avoid the expansion of the existing pond and to plant more trees on the perimeter of the pond to
preserve the privacy of the Saddle Creek residents.
Other point of concern, is the increase of traffic that this will mean as the plan is to connect Beaument Blvd and Megan
Dr with Ambleside Point PUD. This translate into a risk for the kids playing in the neighborhood, bikers and pedestrians.
The request here is not to connect this streets as the Ambleside Point PUD will have two other entrances through 146
street. This will also avoid having the Ambleside Point PUD residents come to our community to use our trails,
playgrounds and courts.
Additional impact for Saddle Creek residents is the risk of overflows by converting green areas into pavement roads,
currently the water from one pond overflows on the surface and runs down to the next pond.
I really appreciate your attention to this email and your support to the Saddle Creek residents.
