Dear Mr. Shestak,
I am writing this email to petition my concerns regarding the proposed Ambleside PUD Development that will directly
affect residents of Saddle Creek. As a resident from the beginning development of Saddle Creek, we were assured of a
nice and quiet neighborhood without further development, by our realtor at that time. Soon, we witnessed the expansion
of several subdivisions; schools being re-districted due to expanded neighborhoods, water pressure issues due to
expanding neighborhoods, increased traffic and periodic hearings of further development (i.e. churches, new schools,
retail, multi-unit housing). I am genuinely concerned that the proposed development adds another layer of challenges that
potentially affect our quality of life and home valuation. I am concerned that the proposed development will directly affect
our neighborhood in Saddle Creek by building a roadway that will connect to the proposed development. I am concerned
about safety for residents due to increased traffic (construction and commute); retention pond flow; access to our Saddle
Creek amenities (that we have paid) that the newer community will not have (or have not been proposed); the potential
effect on home property values (homes being now adjacent to newer homes/multi-units with variance in price range). I
strongly encourage the Carmel City Council to listen to your constituents concerns that have been voiced by the many
residents currently living here. Thank you for your attention and commitment to help bridge relationships between
citizens and government.
Respectfully,
Noel H. Sawada
