Please exercise caution and Do Not open attachments or click links from unknown senders or unexpected email. **** Mr. Shestak - I am a current resident of the west side Saddle Creek neighborhood and have lived here for 15 years. I understand there are hearings coming up about the proposed Ambleside Point and wanted to share my thoughts. Overall, I think development could be a great addition to the area and I look forward to continued positive growth here. That being said, it is my understanding the that the proposed housing density is far in excess of the current zoning and the City will be evaluating that proposal. I am concerned that a nearly 4x increase over the current zoning will put undue pressure on the traffic patterns in and out of Saddle Creek as the two neighborhoods will be connected. I ask that you and your team take a hard look at the proposal a perhaps look for a bit of a compromise. I am concerned for what the during proposed density would mean for both current and potential future residents of both neighborhoods when we return to more normal, non-COVID, patterns. I trust that your team has the expertise and best interest in all Carmel residents in mind and will look upon and assess the proposed housing density of the Ambleside Point project with both perspectives.
