I'm writing to ask for your intervention in the plans proposed for Ambleside in the parcel between Towne and 146th that would adjoin Saddle Creek. My primary concerns are the plans for density, especially the 2-3 story townhomes, lack of green space/amenities and drainage concerns. There are ample townhomes in Carmel and surrounding areas and the proposed density is well above what I understand to be the density typical in Carmel. The lack of green space and amenities will certainly impact home values in Saddle Creek. Finally we have experienced significant drainage issues in Saddle Creek in the last years that Ambleside at the proposed density would likely aggravate and it would be a shame to lose so much green space as well. We have been proud residents of Carmel for 10 years and understand that a growing community is a thriving community but we do ask that you work with the developer to revise the proposal to one that is of lower density and that will ensure our property values are maintained here in Saddle Creek. With thanks, Joel & Katherine Spittal M: 401-533-2613 1
