Subject:Carmel Zoning for gas station at 131st and Towne Rd

To the Carmel Zoning Board (who keeps our city one of the best places to live in America),
Please do not allow a gas station or car wash to be built at the intersection mentioned, in The Village of West
Clay. This is NOT the right location for have such a store. A gas station is not needed-- there are plenty just a
few miles out in different directions. The Village of West Clay is a beautiful and quite unique neighborhood, in
an already exceptional city, and it would be blemished to have a car wash sitting just outside its main
entrances, and directly next door to a serene retirement community. Gas stations and convenience stores are
indeed wonderful assets for a community, and I love all the services these stores can offer (especially
donuts)... but PLEASE DO NOT ALLOW A GAS STATION to be build at this particular site.
With great sincerity,
Emily Large
