Please exercise caution and Do Not open attachments or click links from unknown senders or unexpected email. **** Dear Carmel Zoning Board, I am writing to ask that you please reject the petition from George Sweet and Tom Houston to alter the city ordinances which will allow the super mega gas station and car wash in our neighborhood. WE DO NOT WANT THE GAS STATION IN OUR NEIGHBORHOOD. As you know, gas stations are not friendly to the environment, they lower property values and basically ruin the area around them. The increased noise, traffic and bad smells will not only decrease our quality of life but these effects will also harm the health of those in the area. The lot is also too small for such a monstrosity. Soon enough this gas station will be outdated. Why are you going to let them ruin an area for such a short term gain and giant harm? Instead of the gas station, they should build a small market with nicer breads, veggies, cheeses, milk etc. We need a place to get those few things that do not warrant a long trip to the giant grocery stores. Please do your job and listen to your residents instead of the investment dollars from people who do not care about those living in the area. Thank you, Teisha Smith-Harrison 12416 Bellingrath St., Carmel, IN 46032 P.S. If you chose to not listen to the people who actually live here, I hope that you will require the developers to pay a bond requiring them to clean up and restore the area they contaminate. 1
